Nature 7
Sweet leaves so crisp do fall from trees up high,
To greet the gentle change in time with peace,
These red and golden dreams so fresh breeze by,
And then they help my worry to decrease.
Sweet stars a glowing in the sky so dark,
They shine and give an everlasting light,
Their winks to me give out a brilliant spark,
My frown does fade; I see their love so bright.
Sweet sunsets grace the heavens in a breath,
And sweep smooth paint across the sky so blue,
To make a fantasy so free from death,
The colors of delight perfect my view.
The beauty of nature each day is grand;
My heart does dance with warmth upon the land.
Renew
Renewed,
I hear the wind call my name,
A force of nature that can't be tamed.
The sky is lit by the burning of the sun,
The land speaks of stories long unsung.
But to those who listen she'll tell her tale,
Of an undying love that can never fail.
Since the beginning of time she's given all you need,
To help you stand tall and always succeed.
A slap in the face is all we have given back,
When it comes to destroying her we never seem to lack.
Every day cutting down more and more of her trees,
Then tossing the thought away in the afternoon breeze.
How can we do all of these horrible things,
Can’t we just enjoy the beauty life brings?
For if we continue down this destructive path,
We will surely begin to see God's great wrath.
If only people would open their eyes and see,
How truly wonderful this world can be.
The future of the world rests in our hands,
What are we to do with this breathtaking land?
Now is the time for us to start anew,
With the place to which my heart is renewed.

Out there
The flower snakes from the cold ground.
Something once beautiful:
Disguised by the unmerciful forces of nature.
Its petals red as blood-
Smeared across each vein.
Its leaves are frail and dying.
The night sky, a dark background,
Hiding the creatures that lurk,
Suspiciously within the trees.
Its image:
Scratched, as if human kind had tried to erase it from memory.
But the image still lives,
Still breathes,
Still thrives,
Chilling me and my thoughts.

Flowers 5
Mother Natures Way with Words Mother Nature spoke today. I sat and listened to what she had to say. Her words of wisdom were so strong. Made me realize I should do what’s right, never wrong. The Earths deep voice spoke aloud to me, Do not weep young child, leave that to me. For that little one, is the job of my weeping willow tree. The winds soft cry, rang in my ears, Your love and beauty will go on for years. Where you will go others will follow, Your thoughts are deep, never hollow. The birds’ sweet song, I needed to hear, Always go on, live without fear, For one day you'll get to know, The wisdom and wonder of the owl and crow. The gentle smell of the flowers gave me inspiration. Made me see I need to go full out, total dedication. I need to show others how I choose to be. And by doing so, I'll bring out the flower in me. The mysterious waters of the ocean, so deep. To believe is to feel, to hold is to keep. Little girl, one of many others. Pass on your wisdom to your sisters and brothers. The suns powerful ways, so fierce and strong, Brings everything together in Mother Nature’s beautiful song. Everyone and everything in this world plays its own part, May my laughter and brightness of many years, find its special path to your wounded heart. Always go forth; there is plenty to see, And if you need a light in your darkness, Well, just leave that to me.
Water
Make for the shore, let go of the anchor;
Now swim to the beach and explore with candor.
Here's your island you've dreamed about,
So enjoy yourself as you look around.
White sand beach, lucious palm trees,
Vegetation and fruit as far as the eye sees.
Ponds with fish, flowers galore,
Friendly animals and birds by the score,
Pitch your tent and settle in,
You're here for awhile in your dream vacation!

Tree 4
Beyond the woods, on White-tail Ridge,
A mighty giant stands;
Within a grove of popular trees,
It towers above the land.
The branches of this cottonwood,
Are as thick around as me;
Many times, I've sat against,
The trunk, of this awesome tree.
Close to sixty feet tall, this mighty tree stands,
As it rises above those below;
Five feet above the ground, it's trunk,
Measures twenty feet 'round, or so.
At least two hundred years, this giant has stood,
Forty-six of those years, with me;
I gave it a name, the first time we met,
To me, it's called, The Hawk Tree.
Two red-tailed hawks, once had a nest,
Way up in this Giant's crown;
Many times, I watched as they soared,
Above their nesting ground.
The nest was huge, of heavy sticks,
It had to be six feet wide;
Whenever I approached the tree,
With a scream, the hawks would fly.
There were two young hawks, in the nest that year,
All summer, I watched them grow;
By summer’s end, they too, soared aloft,
I hated to see them go.
There was a bad storm, one night, in the fall,
It blew the nest to the ground;
Never again, have hawks built their nest,
In this Giant's lofty crown.

A Sunset in Heaven
How absolutely astonishing, It must be, to see a sunset in heaven. The creamy clouds reflecting off the, Blinding sun. On some the sky is probably painted, A bloody pomegranate scarlet,
While other days are candy colored orange. Each sunset is a little different though. Some have a little more violet, Or less orange,
Making them have a strong golden hue. And there are some that fade quickly, As if the sky is one large ember.
Those are probably lovely. But then there are those that just, Try to keep daylight going.
The ones that a person might wish, Never fade.
They are probably far too beautiful for anyone,
To describe. Once the sky turns to blue and black, It is all over. Sun rises, Do not seem as if they would, Be as phenomenal as a set. It would be the type of happening, That even the wildest of individuals, Pay attention to. Luckily in heaven, The sunsets are only forever.
